Turn Off (and on if possible) the various Pulse speakers with the remote RC1
AnsweredIs this even possible? Turning it off shouldn’t be an issue, not sure about on though. I have a Pulse Flex 2i high up on a shelf. It would be hella convenient if I could just use the remote to turn it on and off, especially when in battery mode… Even just off would help halfway.

Pressing the power button of the RC1 should wake your Bluesound PULSE speaker. However, if there are more than 1 Bluesound devices where you are pointing, it may trigger them all to do exactly what you are pressing in your RC1 remote.

You can configure the RC1 and a corresponding Bluesound device to use a different IR channel If you are flush enough to have many Bluesound devices in the same room.

We seem to have a different idea of what "off" is. Right now I press the power button on RC1 and nothing happens. You seem to be typing about what I would call standby. I pressed the play button until it shut down. The reason for all this is I have a battery on the Flex so I shut it off when I am done. If I left it in standby, how long would the battery last? The Flex is high up on a shelf away from power...

With the IR remote standby is low power but obviously not totally off otherwise the remote could not not be used to wake and this would cause confusion if the remote could not wake a device.

So, how long (approx) can I expect the battery to last in standby on a Flex 2i?
