I have the exact same issue with my T777 V3 since the update. Factory resetted my tv and receiver but did not work.

My Samsung TV does not recognize the NAD as being an audio device via HDMI cable.

I also got the V3. Please contact you as well Richard.
My fear is that they will keep their release cycle of ~3 months that in this matter is totally unacceptable. Took about 3 months when they ruined Spotify Connect in another update.

    Highly unprofessional!

Richard: I don't know your setup but it's possible to upgrade your NAD to E-ARC quite cheap if you are willy to get all audio through ARC.

I grew tired of the HDMI handling in my NAD(very bad experience), so I bought an adapter that converts one HDMI input in the receiver to an E-ARC input.

The downside is that there will be no video from the receiver, so you have to connect your devices to the TV and then the audio through this. I actually bought a new E-ARC TV to be able to do this since it's passing through PCM Surround. Dolby True HD, Dolby Atmos. The only thing that isn't been passthrough is DTS decoding.

However, it's so worth it since the hdmi switching on the receiver is really really bad.

That means, I'm able to get audio from the TV at the moment, but it broke the CEC.

It has worked fine for years. So I am not looking for devices in between. I have considered the upgrade of the VM300 to the VM310 card for Airplay 2. But other then that I am fine if it works like it was before.

I use the receiver for a bi-amped stereo pair of speakers. So no need for any fancy surround tweaks.

Ah okay I see, well in stereo no need :)

    My setup is 7.2

Case looks like it is resolved. Support crew had downgraded my software version remotely.

I’ve sent my linkup session id as well. Interesting to see in the release notes that hdmi handshake for NAD should improve.

Same problem with HDMI ARC doesnt work, neither does HDMI CEC with NAD T 787 with VM300 and build in Bluesound module in latest Bluesound update.
