Vault 2i wireless connection or RCA Interconnects
AnsweredI had my Vault 2i connected with RCA interconnects to my previous integrated amplifier. I bought the NAD M10v2 and now I can play my Vault Library wirelessly or I could reconnect it with RCA interconnects to the back of the NAD.
My question: For the best sound quality should I use it wirelessly with the NAD or use RCA interconnects. The Interconnects are decent: (Audioquest Big Sur)

You can continue using your VAULT's library and play using the NAD M10 wirelessly.
Our products do not upsample/downsample and play audio formats it receives.
Hope this helps and thanks for #LivingHiFi -
Hi Mark T.
I appreciate your reply but I don't understand how the upsampling/downsampling capability answers my question. So simply, given a choice are you recommending wireless or high quality cables for the best sound quality on any given file format?
Thank you
Bill

The M10 connects to the Vault using your local network, the Vault of course uses Ethernet and the M10 can use either WiFi or Ethernet.
You do not use outputs on the Vault into the M10 as your music travels through your local network without any impact on audio quality.
