Radio Station missing from Node
AnsweredHi there,
I'm a UK citizen living in the US and I love to listen to Classic FM, which is the UK's national classical music station.
However, it is not appearing in TuneIn and nor can I add it as a custom station. It is available via the Global Player website and app, according to its own website.
How can I add this to the Node?
Thank you,
Scot

What actually happens when you add it as a custom station via the BluOS TuneIn menu?
EDIT
Post the URL you tried please.

Hey Seppi,
The URL: https://www.globalplayer.com/live/classicfm/uk/ When you listen to Classic FM
When I add to TuneIn custom station I get the following message, "unsupported content type.' (see attached file).
When you listen to Classic FM on its webpage, you have to sign in to Global Player. Maybe we need to add Global Player to TuneIn but I can't see an option for that.

Hi Scott, that URL would never work as you need the URL stream.
I am in the UK and this one works but it may be geo-locked and might not work outside the UK but worth a try.

If you can use the Global Player you could always Bluetooth or Airplay to a Bluesound device.

I don't know if this might help, although the page is over 10 years old now.

I’m using url streaming from showcast.com and radiotime.com and they works great.
Here the one for classic fm http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s15635
Of course it should be much better to have them in a more easy way .. I could get them from volumio0
