    Hi Michael

If Jazz Groove offers a direct link to its playlist content, consider a custom station; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360042467894

    Hi Michael,

only 128 mp3 and 64 aac streams (98 % stable) available here but they play for +5 mins without interruption and error code via Tune In.

    Best, KriHad

Tony- several custom stations of differing resolution were created from the get-go, 256K works well, FLAC does not. Can you confirm that this is not a BluOS issue?

KriHad- anything up to 256 is fine here too via TuneIn. I wish I would have been made aware of this problem BEFORE I spent the $120 usd for the "privilege" of streaming higher rez.

    Hi-Res

Michael, as Jazz Grove is not an integrated BluOS service there is no settings or firmware that can help and you are just playing a URL stream.

I would however suggest you try the hires URLs that you obtain from the Jazz Grove website (once logged in) and see if this plays in another application or even directly in a web browser.

Beyond this sharing a few URLs with Bluesound for testing purposes might be the way forward.

I can confirm TuneIn does not support FLAC playback directly, but if you have a direct link via a custom station, that should work.

I have the same problem with the Node 2i. The Station Jazz Groove only runs in 256kb and not in flac (only a few minutes), by using the URL as a premium member.

Jazz groove has now released the information that there is a problem with the device. The got in contact with bluesound and the bug is to be fixed by Bluesound with an update. At least bluesound has now recognized that the error is in the device. I hope that it will be fixed soon.

    Thanks for the update Guido.

Im glad that somebody finally acknowledged the issue and took responsibility. I was getting tired of watching the finger pointing game from the 256KB seats for the past 10 months.

How will we know when the issue will be resolved?

    Hello Mike,

that´s exactly what I've been thinking. All I know is, that Bluesound will be providing a fix for this specific issue in a future firmware update. Unfortunately I don´t have any Information when this update will come out.

Btw: I recently testet the N130 to be sure it´s a Node 2i-Problem. And so it is, the N130 works fine with FLAC streams from the Jazz Groove.

Guido L .. surprised you're not having the same problem on the N130. I get about 45 min of flac play before it starts acting up (stuttering, etc.) on mine. Still waiting for the fix from BS. In the meantime I mostly AirPlay the flac stream directly from their website.

Hi Melvin, you're right. Obviously I tested the node for too short time, sorry for that. Now that I sold my 2i and bought a N130 I found out, that there are also Interruptions with the new Node. Every 40 minutes I have to change the Radio Station. And again I´m waiting for an update....

Hey Guido .. I had hope for you! Months ago I was told by JazzGroove support it MUST be a problem with my internet connection. I subsequently spent hours trying to track down the issue to no avail, obviously. It was a very frustrating waste of my time. I'm just happy BS and The JazzGroove is on the same page.

A year later and still no fix.

If the same problem exists with the newly released Node, I somehow doubt Bluesound is in any hurry to ever rectify this issue.

I just noticed that my Node`s digital coax output doesn't work either, nice.

I wish I knew all of this a year ago, it will be taken into consideration when I upgrade my streamer.

    HI Michael

Regarding your COAX output - please select Help, Send Support Request so we may review the diagnostics log of your NODE and help locate the issue.

To all else; as for Jazz Groove, we have spoken with them and are working with them to resolve the issue long term.

Good News - got an update today for my Node 130 and it seems to work well. I've been listening to my favorite Jazz Groove Station in flac stream for more than 2 hours now without any interruption.

    Thanks to the bluesound support.

Hope that the issue with the Node 2i will be solved too.

    Hi Guido

The Jazz Groove update 132.3Hz is model agnostic and specific to the format - should be clear sailing for all.

Just want to add I've been listening to one of the flac streams for the past 2 hours without a glitch. Thanks Bluesound!

I too, received an update and the FLAC channel has been working fine for the past half hour. That is 25 minutes longer than usual but Ill refrain from calling this a total win for the time being.

The FLAC channels did briefly work for a little while anyways just before Christmas last year...

Short feedback: The Jazz Groove Support recognized the problem and was able to fix it. Since then there are short and insignificant little breaks, which I consider to be normal. Basically, I´m enjoying the Flacstreams since months. Good sound, great when it works.

Those interruptions are few and far between, lets hope they dont worsen.
