Faint sound out of left channel

I am attempting to use the Node 2021 internal DAC to output sound from my TV to a preamp. I have only a whisper of sound coming out of the left channel, regular volume on R channel. I tried swapping cables and inputs, it is like the balance control is slid full right. Speaking of balance controls, is there one on the Node? I cannot find one if there is. 

I also tried using different HDMI cables and one optical cable from the same TV, same issue, barely any sound out of the Left speaker. 

Now, using the USB out on the Node to my DAC, out to the same preamp, all is good. Bad internal DAC in the Node? I have had this unit for almost a year without issue, never tried to use the internal DAC until today. Any help would be appreciated.
