USB out to DAC With Analog Source

I have an N130 that I recently attempted to route through a couple of DACs I have. Using USB to connect to DAC, streaming and HDMI input sounds great through the DAC, but analog sources such as a CD player or turntable sound terrible with clicking and warbling. Just out of whack.  Out to DAC using optical everything sounds great.  I am using the Node a s a Preamp in all scenarios with an Emotiva BASX-A2 for amplification. 

I would prefer to use USB but do not want to switch the connection each time I play a record or CD, is this a bug that needs to be fixed with an update or is there a setting I'm missing?  Any help would be appreciated.  I have tried two DACs and it is the same with both.
