node2i - spotify connect on android 9-LG V30
Answeredhi,
I have a LG V30 phone that use as a music player only - until recently i also used it as my Spotify controller to connect via Spotify Connect to the Node2i.
it always woked fine, until it didnt no more? - android 9 to old for that? no longer supported? that wouldnt be nice... the device node2i is visible under device in the spotify app on the LG phone... it writes "connecting...".. but it never does..
LG V30 running android 9 - node2i OS is up to date 3.20.25
I like the LG V30 as my music controller device... controlling the node2i with Spotify connect works well with my iphone (a new one, latest OS)..

According to the Spotify website you need Android 5.0 or higher so you are well within the requirements. Something could have changed on the phone, perhaps an update recently that caused this?
I would as a minimum reboot the router, then the Node and the Phone. If this does not help then using the BluOS app on the Android phone select Help…Send Support Request.

Minimum Android 5.0, so that shouldn't be your issue.
