Well here we go, I have a few questions I suppose
I am trying to get the most out of my Klipsch TheFives, and understand some of these questions may need to be answered by them
I will start by saying I already love how the Node n130 sounds through them compared to streaming anything Blutooth
I am using the tidal app with MQA enabled, the node rca out (to get full MQA unfolding) and thus sending this analog signal to TheFives powered speakers.
Since these speakers then use DSP, this means there is now an analog to digital conversion. So my first question is, does this analog to digital conversion within the fives defeat the purpose of sending a fully unfolded MQA signal to TheFIVES?
My second questions is. I may use the node without MQA via the usb digital out, is the usb digital out on the Node n130 bit perfect or does it only support 96hz like the coax

The NODE supports 24/192 from optical, coaxial and USB and all are bit perfect.
As your external speakers do not support MQA then continue to use the analogue outputs of the NODE to benefit from MQA recordings. You may want to try yourself if you prefer the DAC in the NODE or your speakers as this would be a personal thing.
The DSP built in and DAD conversion won’t loose MQA benefits (using analogue out of the NODE) but the audio quality again is down to your ears and if you like the presentation.
