Connections used really depend on what your amp has, nearly all (but not all nowadays) have analogue line in and the Sennheiser Ambeo Max soundbar has optical so those are the ones I would choose (depending on the amp)

NB No guarantee the two systems will be in audio sync as both the Soundbar and amp may or not introduce a small delay.

Thank you Seppi!  If there is delay, does Node allow me to select either just the soundbar or just the amplifier?  For example, assuming delay, I'm outside, so music only plays through amplifier or I'm inside and music only plays through soundbar.

The outputs are simultaneously live, no switching I’m afraid as using multiple outputs together was not envisaged but of course the Soundbar and amplifier can be muted, turned off or switched to another input.

Just crossed my mind... Would the same delay issue apply to the PowerNode & the Soundbar?

It depends on what the Soundbar does to the inputs, only way to ensure synced sound is to use BluOS enabled hardware.
