unclean signal
AnsweredHello,
I bought a BlueSound Node 2 some years ago. The device was "stored in one of my cabinets" for a long time and was now to be reactivated in my secondary installation. I then noticed the following error: At irregular intervals, a "dirty" signal (such as an overdriven signal/crushing/crackling) can be heard on both channels. This clay always occurs - regardless of whether the bluesound is connected via analog cable directly at an amplifier or via an optical cable on a external DAC. Nothing can be heard with another player with the same cables and wires inplace. Do you have any they have could cause this issue, what could be broken?
thanks, Volker

Do try powering off for 10 mins (power fully removed) then if that does not help immediately after the next “noise” then using the BluOS app select Help…Send Support Request.

I would initially make sure you are running the latest firmware, using the BluOS app select Help…Upgrade.

thanks, but the device is already rubbing on the latest firmware version

will do so - does this then create a support ticket@BlueOS?

It does but also attaches the logs for the support crew to look at.
