Powernode cuts at high volumes

Over the last few days I have noticed that the Powernode cuts for a second or two and then comes back when played at very high volumes (ie. 75% of max volume), which it never did before. I then realised that one of my daughter's friends had kindly pushed in the tweeter on one of my speakers. So I am guessing that the Powernode is having to work extra hard at those high volumes and this is causing the cut outs? Is this a possibility? I am going to get the tweeter replaced as it upsets my sensibilities just looking at it so hopefully this is will resolve it.

Sometimes it’s just cosmetic other times is damaged and personally would replace if a spare is available. Do double check all speaker wiring as well as you never know what else has been “adjusted”
