Fixed Bluetooth headphones volume

I paired my JBL earbuds with my new Node 2 and once paired, the volume cannot be controlled in the BluOS app and remain at full volume even if the volume switch is moved or sound is muted. Good thing that this was a low starting song or I would be deaf.

    I have 4 different headphones, and on all of them volume is adjusted at the headphones and not the Bluesound player.

    I tried to disconnect the Bluesound Node for 10 minutes, pair the headphones again and still the volume is fixed. My earbuds don't have external volume control, only through software.

    Hi. I experience the same problem. Fixed volume on the BT audio out from Node. Anyone having luck with resolving once it occours? Solution is?

    Ok. Many thanks for this suggestion- will try. Im also going to try different BT devices to check if the issue can be replicated or if this is device dependent

    I just set up my new Powernode and ran into the same issue when pairing Bowers and Wilkins Pi8 earbuds to it. Music always plays at full blast even when the player is supposedly muted.

    I just love how people reference a suggestion for the fix, but none of the comments contain the suggestion. This is obviously bug that for some reason Bluesound refuses to fix.

    ŠTEFAN, unfortunately some posts of mine were deleted automatically by the forum spam software hence my replies are missing.

    If you are having problems connect the headphones and then in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, the Bluesound Support Crew will be able review the log file and take a closer look.

    Thank you for the quick response Seppi. The problem I'm having is the same as the original poster, I can't control the volume of the connected bluetooth output device from the BluOS App or from the NODE itself, otherwise the connection works.
