Does the brand/type/model of phone make a difference to streaming quality to the Powernode?

Just trying to understand whether when streaming music to my Powernode if the stream is coming from my phone (S21) or via my router?

If it's the phone, are there better performing phones with better streaming capabilities or higher resolutions? And if it's the latter, I presume that the phone is irrelevant as it is dependent on the router, although Bluos performance is obviously dependent on the resilience of the phone?
