Should replay-gain work for streaming services?

Is replay-gain working for local files only or should it work for certain streaming services as well? In my case Deezer?

I tried but I have the impression that it does nothing for Deezer.

  The Streaming service files just don’t contain the Replygain tags. If you use Spotify connect the Spotify app does have a normalise feature.

  Yes, for Deezer I can use their own app over airplay, than the normalise feature works well like with Spotify connect.

  But would be nice if there was this normalise feature in the Bluesound app as well so that I don't need my mobile. Now if I listen to a playlist with tracks from different albums I use airplay. If I just listen to a full album I use the Bluesound app as the volume of the tracks of one album are usally equal.

  Hi Eric,

  it will work on files with GAIN tags regardless of source, according to the BluOS support team.

  Thanks for the info. I think Deezer and other streaming services doesn't include this gain tags. Hopely this will change in the near future.
