N330 alarm function doesn’t work with TuneIn anymore
AnsweredI used to have my Powernode wake me up with a radio station via TuneIn through the alarm function.
A few weeks ago I changed the station to wake up to, but now I get an error message and the Powernode starts playing the last available song on my recently played items…
It seems like the alarm function doesn’t support TuneIn anymore, but I am still able to select a station manually.
Can this be fixed with a firmware update?
EDIT: I found out this happens with certain radio stations. The strange thing is that it doesn’t work anymore with the station I used to listen to (Sky Radio 80s), while another theme station (Sky Radio Non-Stop) from the same company does seem to work.

TuneIn Streams are independent of BluOS and will vary based on TuneIn's Service. Please see tunein.com regarding service outages, station availability, or changes to this free service.

I understand that. But isn’t it strange that I can select the station manually or save it as a preset, but can’t use that same station for the alarm function?

Have you tried setting up an alarm function with TuneIn using your mobile BluOS controller?

I have tried to set it up using the app on my iPhone and on my iPad.
The alarm function works fine, it’s just that specific radio stations won’t work on it, even though I can play these stations when I manually select them or use them as a preset.
The specific station is Sky Radio 80’s Hits: https://tunein.com/radio/Sky-Radio-80s-Hits-s254287/
I have seen an error message once when it tried to play this station through the alarm function, but I didn’t screenshot it and haven’t been able to reproduce the error message since.

I got it to work again!
It turns out that if I select the radio station from my presets, it somehow can’t connect to that specific station (even though I can select the station to play manually). If i select it from the TuneIn favorites it does work.
Maybe something for the developers to look into?
