    Hi Frans

The BluOS firmware will search partial strings so you can use any separator in the ARTIST tag.

    Hello Tony,

Thank you for the reply. I see now that my question should be more specific... I meant to ask how I can tag a track in such a way that the separate artists will be recognized as such by the indexing procedure, so that the track will appear as a track by artist A and as a track by artist B. I have a great many artists in my library as it is. If all artist collaborations are turned into distinct artists the list of artists will be much longer. Besides that, if the tag is e.g. "Artist A; Artist B", only Artist B can be found at the appropriate spot in a list that is sorted alphabetically.

As far as I can tell, there is no general standard for tagging a track with multiple artist names, so I wonder which method Bluesound supports.

    Regards,
    Frans

    Hi Frans

I spoke with our QA. The semi colon may be delimiting here. Try using an ampersand (&). You will have to rebuild Index.

In our browse model, by Artist actually lists the Album Artist (unless it is blank).
