Loud minimal volume in multiroom

Hi all,
I'm using a Pulse 2i and a Powernode N330 in a multiroom setup. When I join them in 1 room, the minimal volume (1 tick above silence) on the Powernode is quite loud (too loud to have normal conversation). The volume of the Pulse is OK. When I use the Powernode without the mutliroom setup, I am able to set the volume at a lower volume and have much more control. Any idea how to fix this?
