Your on-route POWERNODE, like the SOUNDBAR, is fully DOLBY Certified and will act as the entire front section of a Home Theatre Group or will be excellent on its own.

Thank you for your feedback. I would only have 2 speakers in the front, left and right. The center channel will be simulated by the dolby digital process. Therefore, if I am not well in the middle of the speakers (like an equilateral triangle), I will hear the voices on the speaker I am closest to.

Unless you tell me that it is possible to connect a Pulse Flex to the powernode and configure it as a front center speaker?

You can forget my request, I send back everything, there is absolutely nothing that works properly! I already had to do a factory reset blindly because the powernode was faulty and did not display any leds (so no touch button)

Then, impossible to have dolby surround sound (I created a fixed home cinema group with the 2 pulse 2i in surrounds.) I tested a lot of different tracks (dolby digital (ac3), dolby digital plus, dts etc... besides it does not decode the dts, great.)

When I put my TV in passthrough, no sound comes out when I play a DD+ track for example. This is what made me switch from bean 1 to beam 2.

I also used a Fury Arcana HD box to get an e-arc output, no change.

I feel like I've gone back 10 years: It's unacceptable that in 2022 we can't plug in expensive equipment and enjoy it fully, simply.

Moreover, I find the Pulse Flex 2i horribly expensive for the quality of sound they provide! My symfonisk shelf speakers from Ikea, 3.5x cheaper (because I paid 99e each) work just as well! Especially as a surround...

In short, very, very disappointed with this solution absolutely not completed!

And it's not worth telling me how to adjust the TV or anything else, I would certainly not switch to PCM or bitstream, I do not want to regress while everything works with sonos. I will opt for a sonos amp which will work much better and more simply in my opinion.

It seems you are upset by your own incompetence and react that to the Bluesound crew. I have excellent experiences interfacing with them. And I’m so impressed of the quality of my sound bar that I will skip my plans to go for a different 2 channel hifi set just for audio. But instead I chose for a full Bluesound set, for both home cinema and high fidelity audio.

Upset by my incompetence? After having configured several complete home theaters, Sonos, Bose systems, mounted and "interfaced" players under rpi and Volumio, it's a simple amp to connect in HDMI that would cause me worries? LOL.

So the product had an original defect and didn't work as it should. It's strange, when I received it, it was defective, there was only the front LED that lit up in red. No LEDs were lighting up on the top. I managed to perform a factory reset by pressing the supposed location of the touch play button on the powernode. After configuring it, with a fixed group in home theater (well yes, many incompetent people don't understand that and don't search on the internet, I do), it never showed me the mention Dolby Digital. I had to configure my TV in PCM to have sound, otherwise it doesn't come out in passthrough. And the movies in Dolby Digital were not released in Dolby. I must be incompetent, yes.
