Impossible to navigate Amazon HD most of the time

    Please continue to work with Amazon on telling them you hope for a better experience of their service on third-party Apps. It will help us on our end as we continue to work with them as well behind the scenes.

    Thank you, Tony. I understood the first time I added the service to the Windows app that amazon APIs must be really poor. But I still think there is a bug or two here in the BluOS implementation of amazon's APIs. I'll try to post some screenshots and a better explanation later when I can get to it.

    As far as telling amazon that they need to do a better job goes, my feeling is amazon is so huge that they really don't care about anything, which kind of brings us back around to where we are now. I understand you can't make gold out of cow patties and that's what's needed here, so I appreciate your comments and link given you're in the middle between the services and your customers.

    If we can't at least resolve the issue of not being able to play an album (which is not 100% of the time of course but on some days it seems that way) then I'll cancel my amazon subscription. I don't use them for anything else, and I really don't need them since I have top-tier plans from Tidal and Deezer. I like to have a few services to choose from, sometimes you can find an album on one but not the other, etc.

    Qobuz is not available here, despite years of threats.

    Hi again, here is a screenshot. The search on amazon brings me to this page, Weather Report shows up in the list of Artists, but clicking on the Artist or the arrow on the right side just temporarily lights up that line, but does nothing. I stay on the same page.

    If I go to an album I can enter the album but have no option in BluOS to play the whole album.

    If I click Show All, I can get to the list of albums and from there I can enter an individual album but I also have the 3 dots so I can play the whole album.

    Things are definitely not right.

    If problems persist, then please select Help, Send Support Request and let our Support Crew know your Amazon Music Subscription level (Unlimited, Prime etc...) along with your geographic location. Amazon Music offerings will vary significantly based on your subscription level and region.

    I don't receive any error messages. I don't have any saved music.

    In your BluOS app >> Help >> Diagnostics >> Reboot in the lower right of the window.

    I signed out of amazon, rebooted both my devices, closed the Windows desktop app.

     

    I logged into amazon again and the problem still exists: In the Windows desktop app, clicking on any artist that shows up under Artists, nothing happens.

     

    When Show All is available, I am able to click on that and get a complete list or sublist which offers Show More. When Show all is not available, in many cases clicking on the album or artist does nothing.

    Just my experience...Accessing Amazon Music via BluOS windows app on my Win 11 PC seems to work fine.  The limitations described by Music Lovah don't seem to occur for me. Agreed the interface does not seem as nice as the TIdal one via BluOS, but it does seem to work for me in Windows app and IoS app.

    I primarily listen to .flac files but I occasionally stream form my Amazon Unlimited account.  It has been connected for a year or two and I never had any problem navigating it until I upgraded my Windows client to 3.20.2. I expected it to be resolved shortly so I've just been using my IOS client which works fine at the latest version.
    Today, after checking again for an updated client, I rolled the client back to 3.20.1 and can navigate my Amazon search results again.  Looking forward to a fix in 3.20.3(?).
