Best setup with powered speakers and a subwoofer?
AnsweredI'm wondering what you all have found to be the best setup with powered speakers, particularly in regards to volume control. I have the N130 connected to Audioengine A5+ speakers via RCA and now adding the SVS SB1000Pro. I also have a turntable/preamp that connects to the speakers via RCA. I will mainly be using the Node to stream through Spotify.
It seems like I should connect the sub to the speakers and turn on the fixed volume for the Node? I'd love to use the sub out on the node, but don't want to have to swap it around when using the turntable. I probably need to prioritize buying a good receiver.
Thanks all!

Consult your SUB documentation. You can do the setup you desire with a fixed volume on the node but you will manually have to adjust the volume of the sub-woofer to the desired average volume. Subs do not have to be the same volume as the speakers to create bass, often sub volumes are less than the main volume.
Play around and let your ears decide.
