Stereo pairs? Amplification and wiring?

If I set up either a node or edge in left/right mode how is the amplification (does it do left on both channels or is 1/2 of the unit not amplifying and how is it wired to the speaker mono or bi-amped?

 

I have a couple places I can't run speaker wire so I was going to put an edge in left/right mode directly connected to a speaker that is capable of being bi-amped so I was curios how the amplification works.

  All terminals remain hot.

  If in Left Mode only, both terminals will send the left channel.

  Thank you Tony, so if my speakers support bi-amplification I should be able to use both channels and get 2 * 60 or 2 * 80 per device, which is more than enough to drive my Proac Response 2.5, meaning I dont need anything more per side :)
