    You can... but this will not be DOLBY Decode 5.1 system. It will just play the same content as the SOUNDBAR and act more like a bridged amplifier than an AV Receiver.

    Thank you for the response Tony. So sounds like this would work if I want to have the soundbar underneath the TV and speakers on each side of the TV? This should give the effect of dialogue/soundbar sounds coming not just from under the TV if that makes sense…

    No - it won't - it will just double the volume of everything...

    Thanks for the response - and sorry for being slow but I need to understand your comment properly.
    Is the problem that the ‘bridged’ audio will bridge sound from all speakers front and back in the surround group? And not just the sounds from the soundbar?
