Digital audio signal routing from HDMI input to coax digital out
AnsweredIn order to connect an Apple TV as audio input device to the HDMI port and a DAC to the digital coax output, it would be great if the Node could ‘route’ a digital audio signal from the HDMI input to the digital coax output. Why is this useful? As Apple does not have an equivalent to Spotify Connect, a workaround could be an Apple TV that outputs the digital audio signal (via HDMI) to the Node which is connected to a standalone DAC or receiver with digital input. Alternatively, using the internal DAC of the Node and outputting analog audio would be also a welcome feature.

Hi Andy
HDMI ARC does not work like that. This is not a limitation of Bluesound but an industry-standard in the ARC protocol. You can however get your desired result by adding a TV to the chain. Your Apple TV goes into an HDMI port on your television and the television HDMI ARC port is connected to your NODE.
