Is Deezer via Airplay to Bluesound still hifi quality?

Hi,

I have a brand new Powernode gen3 and use Deezer as music service. Because I experience some limitations in the Bluesound Deezer app now I regurarly use the iOS Deezer app on my iPhone 12 and connect it to the Bluesound via Airplay. I'm wondering if the sound keeps the hifi quality this way, or will there be any loss?

By the way, I hope Bluesound will add Deezer Connect in the near future.

  What limitations with Deezer in BluOS are you seeing? As of now, with Apple Airplay, it can only go up to 16 bit 44.KHz while in BluOS, it can go up to 24 bit 192 KHz.

  Well, Deezer offers not above 16 bit 44.KHz (hifi), so for Deezer there is no loss over Airplay I understand.

  Missing options: sorting albums and artists by alphabet, volume normalisation, podcasts.
