Vault 2i failure during a software upgrade
AnsweredMy Vault 2i purchased in Feb 2019 died during a software upgrade. I gave my sister a vault 2i as a gift so she did not have a receipt. Blu Sound Support would not help until the receipt was sent to them even though they had the serial number. Support sent a file to load from the USB port but that did not work. Ultimately after the receipt was sent to support, I was told for 980.00 I could have it repaired. Another option was to buy another used one with no warranty. Suipport was no support at all and there treatment regarding a receipt even though the unit was registered was not nice. My solution was to give my unit to my sister. I am not purchasing another one! The system died on a software upgrade and Blu Sound Support refused to regard this as a problem.
When I sent an email regarding the problem, Blu Sound did not even bother to respond to me after treating my sister badly except for opening an unanswered service request.
I do not recommend this product and their software upgrades are not only downgrades but cause they unit to fail. BEWARE!
