macOS controller app - bottom play bar gets stuck.
AnsweredmacOS 11.2.3, Controller 3.20.1, BluOS 3.20.25, Node N130.
On my Mac, the bottom bar in the controller app goes stale - it no longer changes to reflect what's playing, the correct source of the music, and the pause/play controls no longer work. This is very consistent and reproducible, just need to have the app running and sleep/wakeup the iMac. Quiting and restarting the app gets the bottom bar back in sync. The iPhone and iPad versions of the app do not have this problem - I can use those apps to pause/restart the music, and they always correctly show what's playing.
Not a great hardship, but it would be cool to get this fixed at some point.

Same problem here; seems to appear when mac comes out of sleep mode, restarting the app gets the playback head and controls back into sync.
Workable, but quite annoying because it's very frequent

I have had the exact same problem since version 3.20 was introduced. No resolution yet after 2-3 months. Need to restart the controller app multiple times a day. Reverting to previous version bypasses the problem. I'm surprised that BlueOS have not addressed this issue.

More info on the out of sync issue for the Mac desktop app.
Running: MacOS: 13.3.1, Mac App 3.20.5, BluOS: 3.20.45
Go into an album, I used Tidal, select Play all, wait until screen saver comes on, then wait a track or two.
Hit key to go back into app and the App has gone to the Home screen, Player is out of sync at bottom of window with what is playing. Go back to album and player is still out of sync and playlist is not updating.
Quit the app and restarted it and it went back into album and was back in sync.
Also watched on iOS app in parallel and it was in sync the entire time.

Same thing: BluOS Controller 3.20.6 for Mac. It is extremely annoying when play/pause won't respond, so I have to close and re-open the app. Or when I hear a track I like, look to see the title and the title displayed on the bottom bar is one that played a while ago.
When will this be fixed, for heaven's sake?! I'm thoroughly weary of it.

I am a new Node owner and am experiencing the same issue. I find it a little disturbing that this was "broken" quite some time ago and yet sits unresolved a year later.
Hope it gets fixed soon.

These may not be related and may be caused by network lag of players reporting back to the App. Can you please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so our Support Crew may take a closer look.
