    HI Jim

    On the back panel of your player, the model name is stated under Bluesound International towards the right. If it just says NODE, then it is the new NODE N130. The NODE N130 also has a solid top panel compared to the 5-button NODE 2 or 2i (the centre being a Play/Paus icon) along with larger venting.

    Finally, you can check the serial number - the 3 digits following the N will be N110 for a NODE 2 (c. 2015-2018), N125 for a NODE 2i (c. 2018-2021) or N130 for the NODE N130 (2021-present).

    If I may offer as an RFE for the controller app - add a field in Help->About or Settings->Player (or wherever it makes sense) that shows the specific model. Makes it a little easier.
