Using Analog out or Optical out to A/V Receiver ?

I am currently using the Analog out from my Bluesound node into my Pioneer receiver.

Should I be using the Optical out instead for better sound quality ? (Digital)

  The analogue outputs on the NODE are very good but it’s really your decision / ears to decide if the DAC inside your Pioneer receiver is better than the one in the NODE.
