macOS Controller should remember state between launches
AnsweredThe controller app for macOS (and I assume for Windows as well) should remember its state between launches, restoring itself to the configuration is was in on exit.
Some examples:
* Views (e.g. Albums for an artist) should remember their sort order. Currently always resets to A-Z
* When opening app, play queue should jump to the current song. Right now it shows the top of the list (oldest in history)
* Play queue side-bar open state not restored on app launch
I see the first item was requested 3 years ago, and it is still not addressed (at least on Mac)
In general on launch it should restore to how it was on exit - same screen/section, same settings, etc. rather than requiring the user to reconfigure every time. It is particularly painful at the moment because the app is largely non-responsive after Mac is woken from sleep, requiring the app to be quit and re-launched. The you have to go through re-configuring to get the app back how it was.

Thanks for the feedback Simon
We have been able to replicate the issue with your Sort Preferences not restoring and are looking to resolve that issue in a near future release. For all other issues, we have had a hard time replicating here in our labs using a MacMini and MacBook. That being said, the Play Queue side-bar state when re-opening has never been available.
Try uninstalling, emptying the trash, rebooting your Mac, and reinstalling a freshly downloaded version of the App. If problems persist, please have our Support Crew take a closer look by selecting Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so we can take an even closer look.
