Suggest Way of Editing tags within Bluos
AnsweredHaving just bought the Vault 2i, I have been fighting with it when trying to rip items which have more than 1 CD e.g. a double album etc. It would be VERY helpful to include a tag editor within the Bluos App (all versions). I have searched through this useful community board, and many people have suggested similar changes in the past, or have issues which could be fixed by the same solution. At the moment, I have to rip the CD, copy it off the Vault (my tag editor on Windows cannot use networked drives), edit the tags, delete the original rip from the Vault, copy the new files from the PC onto the Vault and re-build the entire index. There must be a more efficient way of doing this within the app itself, whether that's a fully fledged tag editor (my suggestion and preference).

Mapping your Vault's share in Windows should make you able to use your tag editor.

Thanks Bjorn. I ran into a problem early on today where after mapping the drive, it became disconnected but Windows wouldn't relinquish the mapped drive and wouldn't connect to it again because there was already one resource logged onto it with the Guest credentials. Anyway, I sorted that after a lot of Google digging and I'm reluctant to re-map it in case I waste another 2 hours. I may give it another go.

But two hours is nothing in comparison for waiting years for Bluesound to fix it! I promise! :)
