Blu-OS alarm in Windows bugged
AnsweredThe alarm in BluOS Windows Controller has always been very buggy, but is almost un-usable in 3.20 and only partially fixed in 3.20.1.
- The slider to enable or disable alarms (having multiple alarms) always reverts to enabled
- Setting the alarm at 07.00 am results in a strange time-display, while 07.30 am or 07.45 am dont have this issue (see picture below)
- Shuffle option is not available when I select a playlist
- Selecting a source results in strange HTML errors (%20 etc. in the name). This has partially been fixed in 3.20.1, but it still happens that the default annoying alarm sound is used instead of the selected radio station or playlist. Maybe this is also HTML / character set encoding related, e.g. when the source contains " ' " or " é " ...
- The running time duration setting is very limited (No custom time like 30 seconds or 1 minute available)
- To disable the alarm I first have to select another room, then back to the active room, before the controller "understands" that there is an alarm active. Maybe this is due to powersave options / the Windows device has lost internet connection between setting the alarm and the alarm
- The alarm setting should be at a higher level. Now you first have to select a room, then set the alarms for this room. It would be much more convenient to be able to set a general alarm, and within this alarm to have a setting which room(s) this alarm is for. This would also require to be able to name this alarm... "weekend long-sleep bedroom" or "workday early start all rooms" etc.
The Alarm feature is not a "nice2have" but an important feature of BluOS. Please get this fixed!

I am having issues with the alarm as well. When I first installed our Node at work it was a real treat to have it come on automatically, now it has become unpredictable. My player is on BluOS Version 3.20.25.
