Skips in songs using NAD C390 and Tidal connect

When playing music via Tidal Connect (HiFI quality) via my NAD C390 digital amplifier the music suddenly skips in the middle of songs. The music is interrupted sometimes multiple times during a song. The is not happening when playing using the BluOS app, and never happens using spotify connect. Is there å problem with the Tidal app, or the integration with Bluesound ? Why is this not working seamlessly ? I am thinking of going back to using Spotify again if this cannot be solved.
