The new app is opening on my iPad mini, thanks!
However, I'm not able to pass the "searching for device" screen. It keeps on searching, but never finding the Bluesound node, nor do I get any error message.

My other two regular (more modern) iPad's connect just fine, so not sure what I do wrong or what setting on the iPad mini needs adjustment or so

    Hi Maurice,
Had the same problem myself, it needed a cancel if the search then click Start ( or similar) This resulted in my player being discovered immediately.

    Hope it works for you.

    Cheers

Thanks Trevor, that cancel/start did the trick!

Very happy now, I have the Mini in parental mode (or how is it called, that it only has 1 app active), so opening the cover is enough the be welcomed by the BluOS app.
The Mini is an ideal remote

I decided to stop waiting for a solution.  This was in part due to other technical problems with my very old Ipad mini.

Instead, I bought an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet, now selling for $55, with an additional fee of $15 to avoid advertisements (paid after the Fire is in hand). I use the Fire exclusively for Bluos Controller and it works well.  A few tweaks were needed, but a Google search found the answers I need.ed
