connecting vault to a marc levinson preamp

I have a Marc Levinson Preamplifier with multiple camac connector inputs-cd,tumer, aux etc.

When I connect  the output from the vault I only get sound from one preamp input & then from only one speaker. I have tried two different sets of cables.

Any thoughts?

  If you swap the leads at the Vault end, does the audio then move to the other channel?

  Does the preamp have any digital inputs you can try?
