BluOS controller stuck in "looking for players" after update on Windows 10
BeantwortetAfter the update last week, the BlueOS controller can't find the Node 2i player anymore. The screen is stuck at the spinner "looking for players".
There's nothing wrong with the player, the android app finds it like before.

Close the BluOS App - reboot your Windows PC. Relaunch the App. If problems persist, please e-mail our Support Crew at support@bluesound.com

Problems persist even after reinstall of the app.

If anyone has the same problem:
after the update of the app you need to fix the windows firewall settings manually:
go to -> Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall -> Look for bluos controller.exe -> Check all the boxes under Domain, Private and Public

This solution doesnt work for me, not on Win 10 or 11.

If I Shut down my VPN the controller starts up ok.
The play queue still does not update the song that is playing and stays at the top of the Play Q-List.

When enabling a VPN, your desktop IP changes - therefore is no longer on the same network as your BluOS Players.
