Language setting

Hi Allan
Language settings are determined by the default language of the device running the App. If your phone, tablet or PC is set to Dutch, you can not have the BluOS App appear in any language other than Dutch.

I see. So I jusr wonder why I found no where to have language setting 😉

So if i just want to set it to English for easier lookup in this English-only support group, i basically can't, unless i change the language on my mobile. Not very userfriendly. If i remember correctly, for Windows pc this not even possible, due to licensing.
I would strongly suggest you control display of language specifics based on a BluSound setting, not a device wide setting. Of course you could initialize from it.1 -
There is several threads for "BluOS controller" language settings (for Android, Windows, iPhone), but I choose that one to add my comment.
I also would like to get Language change available independently from device language. App language should be a choice in App settings to let users choose their preferred language without changing device default language. Quite often English is preferred lang. for this type of apps, even phone, tablet or laptop is running on "local" language (this is a question of using standardized terms, shortcuts, definitions for audio ecosystem).
If this can be done - this is my "request" for BluOs controller future version :)

Hello,
I'm using the Windows Desktop App 4.0.0 running on Windows 11 with German display language: shouldn't the user interface of the desktop app show up in German as @Tony W. has written?

It should, at least what I understand :) In short: with your German Win 11 your BluOs controller app should be automatically set to German language. If it's not = it's strange....
BTW. I would like to get such an error as I prefer English :)
This is another reason there should be manual choice of app language.
