Node 3, red led, where do i go from here?

I have the firmware download (it was NOT doing a firmware update so I greatly doubt that this is the issue)  - what is the procedure, copy img file to a usb stick, insert and attempt to boot the unit?

  Thanks! But  sadly, that's what I did, and I still have the solid red LED.

  Took maybe 7-8 minutes, though I wasn't counting. Working now which is GREAT but I am still entirely mystified by what caused it to go south?  Anyway, thank you and have a great weekend!

  Best is hardwire it to your network. If that doesnt work reinstall the app while ethernet connected and it will automatically install
