Bluesound Node connection

Just want to check if the Node will connect to the amp I’m about to purchase and how it will function. Amp will be either Rega Brio or Elex-r. This will have a Rega P3 connected to it. Ideally, I’d like to control everything from an app on my iPhone. Is it possible to power up the Node from the app and this in turn switches the amp on? Can I then control volume from the app?
