Message I have received in case others have same issue
After speaking with our engineering team regarding your specific issue with the Powernode alongside the KEF SUBW, they have been able to replicate it here in our labs. Our engineering team will be looking into this further and be providing a fix for this issue in a future firmware update.
Unfortunately, we here in technical support are not provided a timeline on future development and releases so I can not say for certain when this update will become available. However, rest assured that our engineering team will be doing everything they can to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Our engineering team may reach out to you directly if they require any further specifics about this issue you are experiencing.
I'm sorry I do not have a more immediate solution for you but in the meantime, if you have any further questions for me, please feel free to let me know0 -
I've got the same issue, different source: I notice it only when I change channels on the TV
Gonna submit a ticket

So here we are years later since the original post and Bluesound have offered nothing by way of a resolution to this issue. Instead, their focus is on new products incl. the N331 which, I'd like to assume isn't plagued by this issue. Woefully disappointed and annoyed in equal measure.

I am also interested to know if there is going to be a resolution to this issue.
I specifically asked Technical Support if the issue had been resolved with the new PowerNode (N331), but the response I received was not very informative:
'Regrettably, we in technical support do not receive updates regarding the resolution of issues with new products until they are officially released.'

@Sean I saw a post from a PN user who had their unit repaired within warranty and if I recall, the sub out port was replaced. User reported issue fixed which would suggest a HW fault. BS have been leading me on with a potential 'firmware' update resolution for the sub issue?!
It's such a shame when I look at the new features/changes on the N331 - they're all the changes I would have suggested and I fully welcome an additional 20w per channel in terms of power. And the larger headphone port.
What makes it worse is I considered switching my sub (an ageing passive Acoustic Energy T series sub) to a KC62. Seeing the same issue with that as well put the nail in the coffin of any further BS streaming products for me (for now anyway)
