Which connection type transmits the full resolution (min. 192kHz / 24Bit)?
BeantwortetHello,
I have bought the Node N130.
What is the best connection to transfer 192kHz / 24bit to an AV amplifier.
The AV amplifier has optical, coaxial and cinch connections.
I would like to transfer Qobuz as best as possible to the amplifier (It is a Pioneer VSX-L503).

Hi Patrick
I would recommend using the analog RCA out taking advantage of the NODE's 24/192 DAC designed for just that in mind.

Hey Tony,
thank you for the answer.
Is it also possible to send the signal optically with the full resolution to the amplifier ?
The amplifier can handle up to 384 kHz/32-bit D/A Conversion with AK4458 (AKM) & PCM5101 (TI).
Which decoder is better ?
AK4458 (AKM) & PCM5101 (TI)from the Pioneer or the one from Bluenode ?0 -
Yes, you will get 24/192 through optical. What sounds better? That's for your ears to decide...

Which DAC chip does the Bluenode use ?

Your Bluesound player uses a Texas Instruments PCM 5242 Burr-Brown DAC, which has been implemented with a differential output design in an endeavour to cancel out as much unwanted noise as possible.
In comparison, the NODE (N130) measures in at -113dB SNR and 0.002% distortion due to this change -- a notable improvement over the NODE 2i's -110dB SNR and 0.005% distortion.

How do I transfer the signal from Qobuz in 192/24 with the optical signal ? Is there anything special that needs to be set ?

When entering your Qobuz credentials in the Music Services Menu of the Navigation drawer, Qobuz is unique in setting what level of audio performance you are looking for. Simply select 24/192 if you are a Qobuz Sublime consumer.
