Connecting Pulse Flex 2i to TV
BeantwortetHello,
I have a Sony x90j TV and when I'm trying to connect my Pulse Flex 2i with bluetooth, it cannot find the speaker and it has no issue connecting via bluetooth to other equipments I have, also I can connect to the speaker with my phone via bluetooth. Besides this problem, I want to connect Pulse Flex 2i to my TV with a cable, but since I'm a beginner at this audio equipment stuff I want to ask you which way is the best to make the connection between my TV and Pulse Flex 2i? What kind of cable do I need? (If I can successfully connect them I will buy another Pulse Flex 2i to make a stereo system)
These are my TV's outputs:

You can use OPTICAL to 3.5mm cable like this cable - Digital Audio Cable (Optical) - Tos Link - Male - Mini-Phone 3.5 Mm - Male - 2 M : Amazon.ca: Electronics.
Hope this helps. -
Thank you for your answer. I will give it a try and let you know the result.
Edit: Yes it worked like a charm, now I will wait for Pulse Flex 2i to get back in stocks again, then I will get a SUB+ too to get at least 2.1 system with TV

I'm lookking for connecting my TV with Bluetooth to my Pulse Felx 2i stereo pair. I know it can be done with a optical cable But I just want to stream with Bluetooth. As mentioned above it seams that the TV does not get the bluetooth from the Bleusound flex 2i ? As on other devices susch as iphones, other speakers? Is it blocked from the Bluesound device side? or why is it not appearing as available device? Please advice how to get this working (without a cable please).

I am a bit "late", but, I wanted to share my experience here
After my attempts to distribute the TV sound in the room with the Soundbar+ and 2x Flex 2i failed, I had an idea. TV sound via optical out to optical IN of a Flex 2 i. Madness ... Satisfactory to good. Because the TV stations unfortunately also do not offer consistently good quality, it can sometimes come to echo or dropouts. But no comparison to the disaster with the Soundbar +. Anyway
As a result, I immediately bought 2 x Flex2i. Configuration currently: Fixed group in front, fixed group behind. A speaker in the fixed group front has a connection to the TV. and lo and behold. Runs. Now BlueOS Professional Magic is added From home I brought the Node 2i.
Optical into Node 2i.
- Node2i with the Speakern connect goes only with a group
- TV sound? Nothing
- Additionally connecting Node2i via Optical out to Optical in the Flex 2i = No sound.
- I tried the craziest connections and groups. NOTHING!
- With the Node in the set it does not work. How should one come on it please
- Worse still. In the software sometimes volume sliders go full high. The speakers seem to explode. The option "Optical output" is simply not available. Reopening the app helps
- If you listen to music (Local, Spotify or Tidal) and then also switch optical for the Tv sound ... then it is usually so that I remove the cable briefly and reconnect again. Then it goes
- Sorry, but if I am to summarize all my experiences, especially with the software/app and connectivity, then I can only think of one.
I learn from this - the node interferes in this setup. It works better without it. Why do you need the node then? I have therefore now decided for a really good streamer (for home)
The Node 2i comes away0
