Connecting to Wireless Speaker
Hi There
Hoping this is the correct forum.
It should be simple but is not? I am trying to connect my Node to play on a Samsung soundbar.
Node is connected to the main stereo in Family room and soundbar is in the living room.
I am using an IPad with the BluOS.
I see the "Headphone" connection but when I click on it, it says there is nothing avaiable.
I have bluetooth turned on in the IPad and pairing mode for the sound bar.
All help is appreciated!
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
What's the distance between your Bluesound NODE and your Samsung soundbar? Trying to figure out if the distance is the issue with your devices.
Have you tried pairing another set of Bluetooth headphones to the NODE and see if Bluetooth works?
Please send a support request to support@bluesound.com if you are still having trouble with your Bluesound NODE.0 -
Hi Mark
I estimate the distance to be about 50 to 60 feet. I did manage to hook up the Node to an Anker portable speaker. At about 30 feet, works OK. When I place where the Samsung soundbar is, the signal is intermittent. What is the effective Bluetooth range for the Node? There are no doors in the way but some walls.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Jeff,
In a laboratory setting with no RF interference, Bluetooth can range up to 10 meters (30 feet). In your home with RF and WiFi interference, the range may be less than 5-10 meters.
Also, if you google "Bluetooth Distance", it will give you a result of 30 feet.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks Mark. Have you ever heard of any Bluetooth sinals that actually work?
Appreciate the help.
Jeff
