    Hi,

I am by far not completely sattisfied with Bluesound (and NAD), but here are some points I think are not the companies fault:

    - Missing apps / services is not a fault of the product, but maybe of the buyer not investigating that beforehand. Lack of these apps is publically known.

    - volume levels: I experienced the same (on an NAD C700) and experimented a lot because this was problematic for me. But what I found out was that this is mainly due to Spotify in my case. This was just louder, but not in general: when listening to well mastered recordings like Miles Davis Kind of Blue, I get almost the exact same level with vinyl (analog input), CD (optical input) and Spotify. But the majority of recodrings (pop.., also audio boooks) are just much louder in Spotify so I have to adapt the volume level. I experienced that before with Spotify, but when you can listen to all these sources on one device it just gets more obvious. There is the option to use presets in the blueOs app and store the volume level with them, but after some time I stopped using it, since it doesn't help with the varying sound levels of spotify. There is an option in the spotify settings for equal volume, but it doesn't really work in my experience. Also with HDMI I experience extremly varying sound levels depending on the service I run in the fire TV that is attached to the TV. So there is no way, BlueOS could take care of that.

    - I have that "thud" with the NAD as well, or at least som esound. I think it is some kind of relais. Surely this can be done in a quiter way, but really nothing to be upset about imo in this price range. Had similar sounds with my old NAD amp. I guess you need a relais for standby...

    - It behaved in the same way with Tidal as well
