Lack of Volume Control - Android 12

Since updating to Android 12 (Samsung 20) the volume rocker buttons on the phone no longer control BluOS volume, as they did in Android 11. The buttons control phone media volume only.
BluOS does not show up as one of the volume options in notifications.
Is there any way to regain this functionality? I view it as essential.

Thanks for the feedback Yarrr - Our Quality Assurance team is aware of the issue and changes in Android 12 and hope to resolve this in a near-future App update.

I'm extremely disappointed that the rocker volume no longer works to control the Bluos device volume. This is a significant usability issue.

5 months and still no resolution. Come on. Can we at least get an ETA?

It's really sad to see how slow is the fixing issues. I just bought new phone and this is really step back from my previous experience. Funny is I bought new phone to make everything easier and my most usable feature is gone. Do you guys want to sell more remote controllers or what's the point?

Obviously (and ridiculously) "App updates" have not resolved the issue.
Does anyone know if the volume functionality works on iOS?
I can confirm that volume buttons work for Sonos on Android. No excuse that Bluos can't figure it out.

Any update?! I just want to pick my android phone up and adjust bluesound volume, without having to open.... and stay in...the app to do it!

It's pretty clear that this will never be fixed in Android 12.
The remaining question is if it will be addressed in Android 13.
I'm serious considering trying to downgrade my phone to Android 11.
Or, to help illustrate how serious this issue is, even considering switching to an iOS pos; or converting 6 Bluos components in my house to Sonos.

Note that volume control now works (intermittently) with Android 13!

I'm on Android 14 Beta and while this worked again during the early Betas for me it broke again a few weeks/months ago. It would be really nice if it worked again. For clarity, what I imagine should happen is the following: When playing music via the Bluesound application the volume rockers should always default to controlling the Bluesound volume, but there should be a volume indicator as there is when changing the volume during standard usage (this was not the case during the early Android 14 Betas). When tapping on the volume indicator one can then still choose to select another volume gauge (also this is as far as I know built into Android already). I don't know if there is the possibility of adding precedence, but if there is I think it would be nice if audio playing foreground applications (e.g. youtube) got precedence even if Bluesound is playing sound..
