Subwoofer turns on by itself
BeantwortetHello!
I have several questions.
1. Earlier I asked the question that the subwoofer does not turn on automatically when connected to the Powernode n330.
As a result, I connected the subwoofer to the high input, i.e. to the acoustic outputs to the speakers.
Now the subwoofer turns on as soon as the music starts playing, even at low volume. But! Now it turns on even without music :) That is, just by itself, even when the music is turned off and the player is in sleep mode. It turns out that the turntable sends some kind of signal to the speakers and the subwoofer turns on. How to deal with it?
2. If I turn off the subwoofer in the settings, then what frequency goes to the LFE output?
3. How does the turntable work with 5.1 audio? If I select normal sound or 5.1 in netflix, then the sound changes. What happens to the LFE channel if the subwoofer is turned off in the settings? Is it output only on the lfe or is it mixed with the main signal?

The SUBWOOFER output is always active when a SUB is connected. The Audio Setting labelled sub disables full range to the speakers sending frequencies below the crossover point ONLY to the subwoofer. This is by design,

I understand that and I think you didn't read my question.
The question was, what frequency goes to the LFE when the subwoofer is turned off in the settings?
And there were 2 more questions.0 -
The main question was why does the subwoofer turn on by itself when connected to the high pass.

Check to see if the cable is okay, not crimped or does not have a short in it by swapping it out. If changing the cable does not persist or you hear a hum from the sub at normal volumes after 15 minutes of idle, please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so we may review the amplifier event log and take a closer look

Hi, I have two Rel s812 and I have them connected high level to a pair on mono blocked mc275's and I have the same issue. Periodically the light in the back will come on the go off all by them self. Sometimes both and sometimes just one or the other. I called tech support but they didn't know what was happening and the expert they said would call me back never did. They seem to play fine and come on when the music starts I just don't know why they keep turning on with no signal?
