Exactly the same has happened to one of my 2 speakers.??
It seems like it happened just after the firmware upgrade..
BUT only to one of them?
    Please advice.

Hi, I am in the same boat, would like to know if your no sound issue ever got fixed? and how? because I am told by the support to take it to a dealer.

Hi, yes the issue was fixed, but I was without the player for 1 month while in for repair. They had to change some parts I believe.

I delivered the player to dealer, and they took it to the repair department, 14 days later I got it back. The answer was "emergency firmware" / spare parts - and reinstalled firmware.

After lots of run around, same repeating emails, I was told that since it has been 1 year and 11 months, not covered under warranty. Cost of  repair $359+taxes+Shipping or we can give you 25%off on a new speaker. Lol. Fool me once, fool me twice? I would never buy bluesound product again or recommend.

    Hi,

(I'm french and sorry for my pour english)

I have the same issu, the first one arrive on june for one of my 3 Pulse Mini 2i.
No sound, excepted with headphone !

After discussion with the support, I have to contact a repairman who tells me that the power supply and the sound amplifier must have to be change for 300 $.
Today (18 on september), I have the same issu with another of my 3 Pulse Mini 2i.

    I'm desperate and disguste...
I regret my choice of the Bluesound brand, cause I have also 3 Pulse Flex 2i and a Node 2i, and I'm afraid it's break down too sooner.

And there are no diy videos available. Just sad product.

I have the same issue. 1 year old Pulse mini, but since it's a gift I don't have proof of purchase so I'd need to spend $275 + shipping to repair. How horrible is your hardware that a known defect that's impacted so many people hasn't been recalled!? How is this even legal?

I'm going to sell all my Bluesound devices and switch to Sonos. It's going to hurt and I'll take a financial hit, but it'll save me from supporting this horrible company in the future. And Sonos's new products are cheaper, better looking, have better resale value.

What a horrible company. What a waste. DO NOT BUY BLUESOUND!!! Tell everyone you know — they're crooks!

They didn't even offer me the 25% discount!

I have 2 pulse mini 2i's. One had no sound within the warranty, so it was repaired free. The other one is now defective, no sound, but out of warranty. I'm not paying $360 plus shipping. I'm looking into Sonos. I moved to Bluesound for the MLQ, sound quality, and it is good, but continuous defective products are making me look elsewhere.

Unfortunately I've found this discussion only now. I'm the owner/buyer of several bluesound equipments, 4 pulse, 2 nodes (one as gift to a close friend), 1 mini, which I also (silly me!) advertised to others. Anyway, since the beginning of last year, the mini 2i started to behave weirdly, and in a while it stopped working. Basically it was available on the app, it was fine to use with headphones but no sound from main speakers. I sent it over to service in Italy, and a never ending story started. The service shop kept telling me that the "new" mini 2i have a single comprehensive board which integrates everything, including the failed amp. Such replacement board is sold by lenbrook for 60% of the brand new product plus work and shipping. In the meantime, the official support that I contacted so many times, told me that 2 boards were still available for service. I kept asking both to communicate each other for 1 year with no success. I'm done. And I'm sick. I thought this was a serious audio equipment company (also factoring in the not exactly discount prices) but I was wrong. And let me add, same thinking is for NAD, the brand that at the beginning convinced me to buy it. I mean, why should I invest in something expensive when the risk is that in a couple of years it would become a brick? This crap is just like an iPhone, it goes to trash in a while.

Hi LoRep - can you tell me more about this Lenbrook option, please? I have a Pulse Mini 2i (2019 year) which has the same fault as yours. I have identified the cause and I am hoping to be able to repair mine once I have a little more technical information.

    Hello LoRep

As the parent organisation of Bluesound, Lenbrook International is the corporate parent of Bluesound. Lenbrook does not work end users but through our worldwide distribution team. As you were advised internally, please continue to work with your regional distributor, in your case Pixel Engineering in Italy.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
