C658 doesn't find 1TB external SP HDD via USB

Hi,

my NAD C658 doesn't find 1TB external HDD, but 256GB flash finds with no problem. Have tried to format HDD to NTFS, exFAT, changed capacity and partitions, but there is no difference. Some advice, please?

  The USB port of the NAD C658 provides 1 amp of power. This may not be enough to spin up your 1TB drive. Look into adding an external power source to it. If it does not have an external power connector, look at a Y USB cable attaching one end of the Y branch to the C658 and the other end to a phone charger.

  Thanks, Tony. Does this way matter to audio signal (hi res will be the same quality?), or it's a special type of Y usb cable (transfering data, not only for charging or...)?

  will not affect audio performance as it's just a computer file until it is received by the C658's processor...

  Hi Tony, now SSD is working, but after 10-15 minutes BluOs app shows "usb device is removed" and all stops. If reconnect again, all is working for 15 min. What it can be?
