Vault 2 won't acknowledge ethernet connection

Hi All,

I recently had to change our modem but on reconnecting the ethernet cable to my Vault 2, I get nothing but flashing green and it will not connect! I have tested the same cable from the same modem port, on my laptop and achieve download/upload speeds of 50/15mbps - so the connection is obviously working. I have tried powering down, unplugging and restarting the Vault  but the light continues to flash green.

I would be extremely grateful of any advice - it's driving me crazy not being able to access music!

  A modem will bring internet to your house. One device at a time.
  A router will bring internet/intranet to your devices.
  Connecting to a modem without a router will not work.
