Changing album sort order is not always possible
BeantwortetI'm aware that changing the album sort order from the default "A->Z" is done after clicking "Show all" on the "Artists/Albums" page, But "Show all" only appears if you have a specific number of albums of this artist, in the Windows app you need a minimum of 6 albums (see attached screenshots), in the iPad app you need at least 5 albums, in the iPhone app you need 3 albums. Also, the sort order is saved in the app only, so you can't change the sort order e.g. on the iPhone and see the the change in the Windows app. Am I missing something? As far as I remember this bug (?) has always been there, but I never really asked if this can be fixed - I admit it's not a big problem. Would be nice to have a default sort order setting though...

HI Heinz
The sort order cannot be changed from the summary page - only once you drill down (by pressing Show All or clicking on the Artist). The display order you are seeing is based on the most correct search results, and last time the computer file was modified...

Hi Tony,
sorry for not making it clear enough - I know that I cannot change the sort order on the summary page (as I tried to explain in the first sentence of my post). I just wanted to point out that "Show All" is not available when all albums of the artist fit on the summary page. See my second screenshot: I have 5 albums of Keith Richards, and I cannot change the sort order because "Show All" is missing (see the yellow arrow pointing to empty space...).

That is because it is already Showing All (as you have 5 or less...)

Tony, that's absolutely correct, in a way you are repeating what I said in my posts... How would it be possible to sort these 5 (or less...) albums? Please don't say "Click on Show All" See the problem? ;-)
